Mini Tabletop Bowling
🎳 Build Your Own Fully Automatic Mini Bowling Lane
Ever dreamed of having a bowling lane at home? Now you can — in miniature form, and fully automatic.
This is a 22% scale, working bowling lane — complete with a real mechanical pinsetter, ball return, camera-based scoring, and animated LEDs — all designed to fit on your table.
All you need is a 3D printer, some basic hardware, and these files.
This store gives you the digital files only — STL, STEP, and SOLIDWORKS native — so you can print and build your own lane from scratch.
🧠What You’ll Get
When you purchase, you’ll receive everything you need to bring your lane to life:
- 🧩 Digital Files — STL, STP, or SOLIDWORKS native
- 🖨️ Pre-set 3MFs — download slicer files with my settings, just press “Print” and go
- 🧾 Complete materials list with ready-to-order links
- 🎥 Step-by-step video instructions with clear visuals for assembly
- ⚡Wiring Diagrams — plug and play circuits, no soldering requiredÂ
- ⚙️ Arduino code — upload and start playing
- 💬 Discord access — get help, share progress, and meet other mini bowlers
⚡ What It Can Do
This isn’t a toy — it’s a fully functional, automatic, STRING-LESS pinsetter featuring:
- Sweep
- Pinwheel and conveyors
- LED animations
- ScoreMore camera scoring integration
- Strike detection
- Special 10th frame logic
- Two cycle operation
- Sweep + Respot standing pins
- Sweep + Resets 10 pins
- Optional bumpers for beginners
- It runs best with 25 pins in the system, continuously cycling pins just like the real thing.
🎥 The Story Behind It
Hi, I’m Danny — and I spent over a year and a half obsessed with this project.
It started as a wild idea in my small New York apartment. I turned my kitchen into a mini bowling factory, learning how real pinsetters work and documenting every discovery in a YouTube series. Along the way, real bowling technicians reached out to help refine the design.
After countless redesigns, breakdowns, and sleepless nights, it finally works — beautifully.
This Kickstarter is the result of that journey, and a way for you to build one too.
🕹️ How It Works
- Download the files — everything is organized and labeled.
- Print the parts — optimized for minimal supports and material.
- Assemble — parts slide together and secure with common machine screws.
- Upload the Arduino code — no programming experience required.
- Play! Roll your small weighted ball down your 4-foot lane and watch the pinsetter reset automatically.
The full setup fits comfortably on a 30” × 60” table, with the pinsetter occupying about 18” × 60”.
đź’ˇ Designed for Makers
